Reiki is a holistic healing modality for stress reduction and relaxation. It promotes energetic healing by focusing on aligning the seven chakras, which are the bodies energy centers. During a Reiki session, unwanted and stagnant energies are cleared out of the energy field and the chakras are balanced for optimal wellbeing. Here’s what you can expect during your in-person Reiki session:
Warm Welcome: Upon your arrival, you’ll be greeted with a warm atmosphere. The dedicated space for Reiki sessions is designed to create a sense of peace and comfort, allowing you to unwind and let go of the stresses of the outside world.
Consultation: Your session will begin with a brief consultation, where we’ll discuss your current well-being, any specific concerns you might have, and your intentions for the session. This conversation helps us tailor the Reiki experience to meet your unique needs.
Comfortable Setting: You’ll be comfortably reclined, fully clothed, on a massage table. Soft music and gentle lighting will enhance the ambiance, creating a space for relaxation and healing. Crystals are encouraged to enhance the experience based on your intention.
Hands-On or Hands-Off Healing: We will discuss whether you prefer hands on or hands off healing. Depending on what you choose, I will lightly place my hands on or near your specific energy centers, or chakras of your body. Through these gentle touches or even non-contact methods, I will be a channel for life force energy to enter your chakra centers.
Deep Relaxation: As the Reiki energy flows through you, many clients experience a deep state of relaxation. You might feel warmth, tingling sensations, or a sense of peace enveloping you. It’s common to enter a meditative state, allowing your body to naturally release tension and stress.
Release and Rebalance: Reiki helps release energy blockages, encouraging the body’s natural healing mechanisms to activate. This process supports emotional release, mental clarity, and often a renewed sense of vitality.
Closing and Grounding: After the session, we’ll gently bring you back to the present moment. You’ll have the opportunity to discuss your experience, ask questions, and receive guidance if needed. We encourage you to drink water and take a few moments to ground yourself before leaving.
Integration: Reiki healing continues to work within you even after the session is over. Many clients report feeling more balanced, centered, and at peace in the days following their Reiki session.
